Justin Bieber really is a great boyfriend. Not only does he constantly gush about Selena Gomez and take her on romantic dates, but he also comes through when it really matters.

The Biebs, who is busy getting ready for the holidays and filming a holiday special in Toronto, took time out to visit Selena’s mom Mandy Gomez in the hospital. X17Online.com‘s photographers snapped the 17-year-old singer leaving Cedars Sinai on Dec. 19.
Mandy recently suffered a miscarriage, and Selena herself quickly postponed her concerts to be with her mother. And it doesn’t surprise us that Justin rushed to be by his girlfriend’s side.
Justin clearly loves Selena so much and wanted to be there while her family mourns this tragedy.
Justin continues to show us how amazing and supportive he is, and at 17, it’s wonderful that he’s standing by his girlfriend and her mother.

Mark Sanchez certainly has good tastes! Formerly linked to Hayden Panettiere and Jamie-Lynn Sigler, the hunky New York Jets quarterback is now dating Victoria’s Secret model Kate Upton, reports Page Six.
Since last month, the 25-year-old NFL pro has been sneaking past fans and press into Kate’s apartment, “usually after games or before practices,” the story says.
“They never come in together. He’s always five steps after her,” a source said.
Kate, a 19-year-old model who’s worked with Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated, would have met Mark through her sister, Christie, who is a clients relations manager for the Jets.
We have to admit we’re not one bit surprised Mark has fallen for Kate. After all, he loves younger, super hot girls (case in point, Hayden, 22, and his former 17-year-old Las Vegas fling).

Kendall isn’t just stunning, tall and remarkably self-possessed for a 16-year-old, she’s also remarkably sensible and unspoiled.
The fact that she has the chutzpah and the credit cards to take herself and younger sister, Kylie, 14, to Las Vegas just makes for more jaw-dropping TV.
But luckily, despite her wealth and comfort with a certain lifestyle, she’s no brat.
She may have gone to Las Vegas to get a tattoo that her dad Bruce Jenner specifically forbade, but in the end, she realized that it wasn’t right to go against her parents wishes.
That’s what makes her likable. She has morals. You can feel good about watching her and in fact letting your younger sister watch too.
She is completely positioned to pick up Miley Cyrus‘s mantle. She’s funny, sweet and despite being gorgeous, she’s still goofy.
And she’s imperfect in completely relatable ways.
She may have model-worthy looks and legs, but she’s still so nervous doing her driver’s test, that she flubs up and fails. We can all relate to that.
I say — Kendall —  really is the new Miley Cyrus. She’s Hannah Montana, a little more grown up. But not so grown up like  the real-life Miley who has spent the past couple of years, doing everything in her power to prove that she’s not a little girl or even a teenager anymore.
Since Kendall never was a “child” star. She’s comfortable just being 16-year-old Kendall, leading a fabulous life that nevertheless has its challenges: a strong, opinionated mom, a super-protective dad, three famous sisters with powerful personalities and a little sister who’s the perfect wingman, um girl.

Out of 22 seasons of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, only Trista and Ryan Sutter have said ‘I do.’ But Bachelorette Ashley Hebert is ready to marry the “love of [her] life,” J.P. Rosenbaum. Ashley reveals all of the details of her dream wedding in a new interview with In Touch magazine.
“I thought Kim Kardashian‘s wedding was gorgeous, but I want mine to be simpler,” she tells In Touch. “My dream is to be outside in a big open field, very down-to-earth.”
Ashley’s dream wedding:

• Ashley is “not a designer girl.” But she does want a lacy gown to make her feel “beautiful.”
• Ashley hopes to have an outdoor ceremony, possibly in the Hamptons.
• “I’m hoping for a fall wedding,” she shares.
• A large guest list.
• Ashley admits that she wants to take dancing lessons with J.P. so that they can have a memorable first dance.

Amitabh Bachchan, Dilip Kumar receive Maharashtrian honour in Mumbai

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been conferred the Maanbindu – Maharashtrian of the Year award by Marathi newspaper Lokmat. He was honoured by President Pratibha Patil in Mumbai. In his fabulous and long career, Bachchan has been honoured many times with several awards. But, according to him, the Maanbindu award is different. Bachchan tweeted, “Today among all the thoughts another award and that’s The Maharashtrian of the Year, the Maanbindu for me has been given by the President of India.” It seems that this award has left Big B very nostalgic. He said in his speech at the function that he tried to learn Marathi and soon he will be able to speak and write the language fluently.
At the same event, another Bollywood legend, veteran Dilip Kumar was also awarded – with the Lifetime Achievement Award. “Dilip Saheb, Dilip Kumar gets one too for his life achievements, and there are many other prominent Maharashtrian achievers in the field of Science, Literature, Social Service, Art, Politics that get rewarded,” Bachchan wrote. Both celebrities were awarded a trophy and Rs. five lakh each for their contribution to the world of cinema and entertainment. The grand function was presided over by Governor of Maharashtra, K Sankaranarayanan.
Amitabh Bachchan credited the city of Mumbai for giving him name and recognition. “I have spent 3/4ths of my life in this city – 42 years! And all that I have received in life apart from my parents and my education have come to me from this golden land,” he wrote. “Name, fame, honour, recognition, home and family, children and children of children, everything indebted to the city and state for making me whatever I am today! My obeisance to this great city and its people, for giving me all that I have with me today,” he posted.

Here’s who we think will break the mould in the new year.

Dhanush’s ‘Kolaveri di’ brings Mumbai to a standstill

 

The popular Tamil actor got a taste of stardom in the city that is prominently dominated by Bollywood. And he was pleasantly shocked with the response

It’s about four weeks since Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwarya and son-in-law Dhanush’s ‘Why this kolaveri di’ video went viral and became a worldwide rage. The video that is put up on YouTube, has received more than two million hits so far. Last evening, the Tamil actor Dhanush in person experienced the craze it has created among Mumbaites as he brought the economic capital of the country to a standstill for exactly five minutes. A leading tabloid organised a flash mob (suddenly a bunch of people break in a jig at a crowded location) at Churchgate station. Around 4:45 pm when Mumbaites were rushing to catch their regular trains back home, the station’s speakers blasted the popular song and Dhanush entered the station along with 300 people and began grooving to the beats of Kolaveri di. At first the commuters were perplexed but soon joined the young actor in the madness. But the show did not end there. The youth around weren’t willing to let go of the Kolaveri di singer, so the crowd moved to Oval Maidan, a playground close to the station and the madness continued out in the open. Post the jig, the Indian superstar’s son-in-law said, “I first experienced stardom eight years ago when I made it big in Tamil films. I am living it all over again in this second innings.” Good for him. After seeing his popularity in Mumbai, we won’t be too surprised if he tries to make an entry in Hindi films.

Farhan Akhtar: I never refused to make ‘Don 3′

 

Director Farhan Akhtar wants to take the Don franchise forward, but for now he wants to do something else

Actor-director Farhan Akhtar does not rule out a third part to the Don series. But for now, he says he wants to “explore other genres”. “I never refused to make Don 3. It’s just someone misquoted me and misconstrued my words to make a spicy headline that Don 3 is not happening’,” Farhan told reporters at a conference. His latest Don 2: The King Is Back, a sequel to his 2006 film Don: The Chase Begins, is ready to hit the screens Friday. He is confident about the movie, but wants to wait before taking a plunge into a third part for the action film. “As a filmmaker, I would want to explore other genres too and not get restricted to one. In my interview, I had actually said that at this point of time, I am not ready to take the story forward. I don’t want to get into it as of now, but I never denied the possibility of it. I am very fascinated by Don as a character, and I would love to take it to the next level, but only when I have a good script. “So if someone had to ask me now, if I want to take the story of Don forward, yes I want,” added Farhan, who was accompanied at the event by Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Kunal Kapoor and producer Ritesh Sidhwani.

Himesh Reshammiya: Salman Khan is my driving force

Composer-singer-actor Himesh Reshammiya credits Dabangg actor Salman Khan, a godfather to many newcomers, for his success in the Hindi film industry

“For me it’s always been God, dad and Salman Khan. He (Salman) has been a driving force for me. I just want to thank him for his support. Thank you Salman bhai,” said 38-year-old Himesh, whose music in the actor’s Bodyguard was well-received by the audiences.
Himesh Reshammiya, who reportedly had a spat with Salman sometime back, minced no words while thanking the actor and his family for helping him at every stage of his decade-long career either as a music director, singer or even as an actor. “After this break of one-and-a-half years and with love and good wishes of Salman bhai, my first film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya was possible because of the Khan family and now my 101st film Bodyguard also is getting me awards. It’s all because of their love. In some way or the other Salman bhai has been the reason for my success,” said Himesh.
After his success as a composer-singer, Himesh took up acting in films like Aap Ka Suroor, Karzzzz, Kajraare and Damadamm. He is looking forward to more acting and music assignments. “Now after this break I am all set to give music, and I will give music for a lot of films. I will produce quite a few films too and will also start with my acting spree. I have four films in hand. I’m creatively reloaded. I’m ready with eight to nine scripts, which I have compiled for production houses. As far as the music front is concerned, when I had come here at the age of 16, I came with 300 songs and today I am ready with 500 songs and have signed 250 artists for”it,” he added.
Himesh is also set for some international projects, both, as a composer and as an actor. “An international album in collaboration with Lil Wayne and Edward Maya is also ready. I have formulated 15 songs for it and the album is called The Edge. DJ Edward Maya is doing my song and Roman White, who directs Justin Bieber’s videos is directing our album too. I am also doing an international film A * Is Killed,” said Himesh. For 2012, his hands are full with films like Namastey London 2, Dangerous Ishq, Khiladi 786, Shortcut Romeo and A New Love Ishtory.
