Bigg Boss 6: Is Salman Khan helping Karishma Kotak bag a role in Mental?

Speculations are rife that Salman is helping his ‘favourite’ Bigg Bosscontestant land a role in his latest film

It was evident to whoever was watching Bigg Boss 6 , that the super host Salman Khan, was more than kind towards the female contestants. And from all the pretty ladies on the show, our bachelor Khan was quite affectionate towards model-turned-actor Karishma Kotak, with whom he has worked in advertisements in the past.

Now, it seems that he has taken his affection towards the model to the next level. After Karishma was seen at Salman’s party a few days ago, where she came in incidentally with Salman’s ex Sangeeta Bijlani, the Bigg Boss 6 contestant was seen auditioning for Salman ’s new film titled Mental, that is to be directed by Sohail Khan. Apparently it was Salman himself who recommended Karishma for the part, for which south actor Daisy Shah was earlier in the running. And although there is no confirmation on this, it is being said that Karishma is being considered as a frontrunner for the film that goes on floors in February this year.

Well, this adds another name to the long list of female stars whose career the actor has supported over the years, including Katrina Kaif , Mahek Chahal, Sneha Ullal and Zarine Khan. We wonder how far behind is Sana Khan now, who was another Salman favourite on the show! Wink wink!

He has included loads of fruits and drinks plenty of water to stay energised. He has also incorporated protein-shakes in his diet to keep the energy levels up and build more muscles. Most importantly, Sallu has decided to kick the butt and very rarely is he seen smoking these days. Because of his health issues, he’s been advised to stay away from heavy weights and rigorous exercises. But he lift lighter weights with more number of sets.

MATRU KI BIJLEE KA MANDOLA quick movie review: Entertaining!

Pankaj Kapur plays the perfect bewda and Imran Khan is at his best as the man Friday

Our critic is watching Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola right now and this is what she has to say: “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola is an entertaining movie. It shows an alcoholic Harry aka Haria Mandola (Pankaj Kapur), his man Friday Matru ( Imran Khan ), his daughter Bijlee Mandola ( Anushka Sharma ) and a pink cow which pops up whenever Mandola stops drinking.”

She adds, “While there’s not a single moment that will make you yawn, the songs do – three till interval. Pankaj Kapur steals your heart as a cute bewda, Imran is doing great as the rustic man Friday and Anushka behaves her usual chirpy self. But while these characters are playing their roles well, it’s thedaaru ki botal that’s the game changer in the movie. How will the game change? Will the bewdaMandola turn into a teetotaler? That remains to be seen.”

Bigg Boss 6, Day 95 synopsis: Will Niketan Madhok be kicked out for getting violent with Imam Siddique?

The usually calm model shows his violent side as he pushes his fellow housemate in a fit of rage

The inevitable will happen tonight in Bigg Boss 6 as it nears its finale. The housemates, who were restraining themselves from getting physical and were making do with threats instead, will give up as Niketan Madhok will be shown turning violent towards Imam Siddique as he pushes the model coordinator.

In the episode that will be aired tonight, popular RJ, Malishka, will be talking to the housemates and discussing what their problems have been in the last few days in the house of Bigg Boss. The housemates – Urvashi Dholakia, Niketan Madhok , Rajev Paul and Imam Siddique , will be sitting in the living room and talking to Maliskha over the speaker phone. And while they are sharing their issues, Imam interferes as each contestant tries speak their heart out. Niketan tells Imam to shut up. Following suit are Urvashi Dholakia and Rajev Paul, who tell the catty Imam to shut up and let them speak, to which Imam takes offense and walks out of the living room.

Later, Imam is shown going through Niketan’s drawer and his clothes, as an angry Niketan is seen repeatedly telling Imam to stop doing whatever he is doing. And when Imam does not cease to plunder Niketan’s drawer, he lashes out and pushes away Imam rather rudely, as the former loudly accuses Niketan of turning violent.

Now what remains to be seen is whether Bigg Boss will decide to eliminate one of Salman Khan ’s favourite contestants or not! So, what say BollywoodLifers, will Niketan Madhok be eliminated for turning violent towards Imam Siddique tonight?

Pavitra Rishta to go off air!

The popular soap will end soon owing to frequent generation leaps which the lead actors don’t want to be a part of

When the story of a serial lags, or there is nothing much left to say that is creatively satisfying, TV soap producers resort to the tried and tested tactic of going in for a generation leap to keep the show fresh. Unfortunately, too many such leaps may at times put its actors off, which seems to be the case withPavitra Rishta .

And so, although the show is doing good TRP-wise, it might be taken off air come February. The lead actor of the show, Ankita Lokhande’s decision to not continue with the soap, may be one of the main reasons that it is being made to wrap up. There has been no word from the producers of the show including Ekta Kapoor , but a source revealed that the makers are looking for closure, “The show is likely to go off air. Though the TRP for Pavitra Rishta is quite good, the serial has taken quite a few leaps, the last one being in December. Now, there is other generation leap in the offing. The story needs to end somewhere.”

Well, without Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande, the show would seem quite hollow, even if a leap were to be taken, wethinks. Yet, it must be tough for Ekta Kapoor considering the show was her baby. So let’s see if the shrewd producer has a trick up her sleeve. Else, its goodbye Pavitra Rishta!
