Kristen, 22, was spotted hours before by Twitter user Piper Watson — and she was allegedly with two OTHER guys!

“So I’m just casually stood in line at Starbucks and guess who’s in front of me? Kristen Stewart. I really want her cap,” she wrote. “She was with two guys don’t think it was robert pattinson though if that’s what you’re wondering. I did say hi to kristen and she said hi back now that was awesome she seems cool, don’t know why everyone says she doesn’t smile.”

We’re definitely torn about this news. On one hand, we love Kristen for letting her man shine on his big night. She wants the focus to be on Rob’s role in the creative community, and not their tumultuous relationship.

Conversely, if everything is alright between them, we’re sure Kristen would have helped Rob prepare for the ceremony and get fitted in his Gucci tuxedo. We’re so concerned and need some answers!

Robert Pattinson Attends Golden Globes Without Kristen Stewart

Oh no! Rob showed up at the 70th-annual Golden Globes on Jan. 13 solo, and Kristen was nowhere to be found! But her dad was — and gave Rob a special gesture before the big show! Read on to find out what happened.

Robert Pattinson attended the Golden Globes on Jan. 13 as a presenter, but he arrived to the awards without Kristen Stewart – she didn’t even show up at all!

Rob went to the show as a celebrity presenter – he also presented the award in 2011 for Best Foreign Language Film with Olivia Wilde — but fans were waiting to see if he would bring Kristen along with.

Looks like she stayed away from the awards show entirely!

But the Twilight hunk received a special good-luck gesture by Kristen’s dad John Stewart. Onlookers spotted John walking up to Robert before the show started just to give him a hug — how sweet!

Trouble In Kristen & Rob’s Relationship?

According to a report by Life & Style magazine, their relationship is on the rocks and they have been arguing a lot !

“Things with them aren’t good,” a friend of Rob’s told Life & Style magazine. “They’ve been fighting a lot.” That can’t be good!

Adele At Golden Globes: I Was Very Emotional While Pregnant

The new mom made her first post-baby appearance on Jan. 13 at the Golden Globes, and told Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet that she was very pregnant while writing the theme song to ‘Skyfall’ — which earned her the award for Best Original Song!
Adele walked the 70th-annual Golden Globes red carpet on Jan. 13, her first public appearance since welcoming her baby boy on Oct. 19 with boyfriend Simon Konecki, and revealed to Ryan Seacrest the details behind recording the James Bond flick Skyfall‘s theme song — while she was pregnant!


“I was very pregnant and very emotional, but it was very very exciting,” she said about the hit song, which earned her the win for Best Original Song.

“I felt a bit like Frank Sinatra,” she added about singing the song.

Adele Gives Adorable Shout-Out To Her Family During Awards Speech
Adele took home the Golden Globe for Best Original Song, and it was the first Golden Globe Award for which she was ever nominated — and she revealed she didn’t even think she would win!

She joked that she and few of the other new moms in attendance just wanted to go out for a night after having her baby boy!

“We’ve come for a night out, I was not expecting this,” Adele said during her speech. “It’s very strange to be here. We’ve been pissing ourselves laughing,” she joked.

Then she thanked her precious family for their love and support!

“This is for my boyfriend Simon who convinced me to do it, and my lovely son,” she said. How sweet!

Pharrell Williams Compares Miley Cyrus To Justin Timberlake

Pharrell Williams gave Miley Cyrus a gigantic compliment when he compared her career trajectory to Justin Timberlake ‘s and called her an “old soul.” In an interview with Hypebeast , Williams broke down his reasoning for working with the tween pop star-turned-edgy singer. He also elaborated on the previously reported studio time with Cyrus and Odd Future‘s Tyler, the Creator.

“What we all have in common is that we like new stuff, we like making music that doesn’t exist. That’s what Tyler has in common with me and what I have in common with Miley,” Pharrell says of the strange trifecta. Williams continued on to say how thrilled he was to be a part of Cyrus’ transformation — and he didn’t mean the bleaching and shaving her head part, either.

Calling Cyrus an “old soul that was trapped in a younger situation,” Pharrell explained that he was interrogated in a similar fashion when he chose to work with JT right around the time of his *NSYNC breakup. “I remember when they use to ask me about the same questions with Justin,” Williams explained. “People be like why you going in with *NSYNC? Because there’s somebody in there that you don’t know.”

Cyrus’ last project was 2010′s Can’t Be Tamed, which debuted at Number 3 on the Billboard charts. But she’s been hard at work on her new album — even putting her wedding on hold until it’s done — which she promises will be “sick” with ”a dirty South hip-hop feel” with some old school soul thrown in.

Justin Timberlake’s “Suit and Tie” Tonight at Midnight

Justin Timberlake is bringing annoying back. Following on the heel of Adele (“Skyfall”) and the Rolling Stones (“Doom and Gloom”), the former boy band star is releasing his new single via social network tonight at midnight. “Suit and Tie” is Timberlake’s first new solo single in about six years. An album will follow in two to three months.

Timberlake is coyly using Twitter and Tumblr to release little tidbits of information. Oddly, he’s not using MySpace, in which he invested heavily in the last year, as forum for this information. In all likelihood. “Suit and Tie” will be ready for paid download exclusively on iTunes at midnight.

I told you in September that Timberlake had been working on new music with producer Timberland. But also dropped this week is a new single from Bon Jovi called “Because We Can,” A new album from New Jersey’s favorite rock pop garage band is due in March. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J0Z3nh-ah_k

And you have to give Bon Jovi credit. They’re still regularly putting out catchy new songs, with great melodies, vocals, and radio friendly, stadium solid instrumentals. That’s not so easy in 2013.

Justin Timberlake to release new single 12:01 a.m. Monday

Seven years after his last album, Justin Timberlake is returning to his musical roots with the release of a new single.

The single’s title, set for release at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, is a well-guarded secret. In fact, the song only came to light when Timberlake tweeted “I’m ready” on Thursday. His websitefeatures a digital countdown to the moment of the song’s release.

Astral’s 99.9 Virgin Radio has announced it plans to premiere the video at that time and play it continuously for six hours.

Jay (Mad Dog) Michaels, of Virgin Radio’s Breakfast Show with Mad Dog and Maura, has described the song as “the most anticipated single of 2013.

“Two days before it drops, we still don’t know the song title. It’s an exciting mystery that will unfold live,” Michaels said in a press statement.

Timberlake, 31, has focused on establishing himself as a bona fide actor since he took a hiatus from music, including roles in such films as The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends With Benefits.

Jack Lew: A Bronx Jew moves to Wall Street and the White House

Jack Lew was nominated to become the next U.S. Treasury secretary Thursday. Born to a religious Jewish family, in the past year he has become one of the closest people to President Barack Obama. He also played a crucial role in the negotiations with Republicans during the recent fiscal cliff crisis. These talks actually won him the post.

Despite being highly regarded by many for his roles in various administrations, his past also includes a failed adventure at Citigroup that made him a millionaire at the expense of the tax payers. He has been known in governmental circles since the mid-1970s, but has always kept a low public profile and is virtually unknown outside Washington, D.C.

Lew was severely criticized for his short Wall Street adventure, which led to great losses and failed investments - but huge profits for him. Still, his riches notwithstanding, he is considered sensitive to social issues, and lives modestly with his family in The Bronx.

How did an Orthodox Jew from a working class neighborhood make it to one of the most influential roles in the world economy?

Jacob Joseph Lew was born in 1955, in Queens. His first public roles were in the Democratic Party. At age 20, he was already senior adviser to House Speaker Tip O'Neill. Lew expressed an economic viewpoint that encouraged assistance to the poor and low earners, and promoted many issues - including lowering tuition fees for students, national security reforms and public housing projects.

In 1978 he received a Harvard scholarship, and, in 1983, went on to complete his graduate studies in law at Georgetown. Lew established his own law firm and was appointed to several executive posts, including a senior role in the Boston Municipality budget department.

His meteoric rise began when Bill Clinton was elected to office in 1992. In 1993 he served as a special assistant to the president, dealing with the health care reform legislation Clinton planned to implement. A year later, he was named deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), being appointed director in 1998. He filled the post until the end of Clinton's second term.

After leaving the White House, Lew served in a number of academic posts, including executive vice president for operations at New York University.

The only controversial element to his career began in 2006, when he was appointed  chief operating officer of Citigroup's Alternative Investments Unit, a proprietary trading group. The unit he oversaw invested in a hedge fund that bet on the housing market to collapse - a move that caused much criticism when he returned to the White House in 2009.

Lew earned $1.1 million for the year he spent on Wall Street, despite the fact that his unit lost billions of dollars as a result of his failed investments. In the first quarter of 2008, the unit lost $500 million. The same year the administration bailed out Citi to the tune of $45 billion.

Lew's short and bitter experience on Wall Street drove him back to the government's arms. His close relationship with the Clintons continued when he was appointed  deputy secretary of state for management and resources under Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

In July 2010 he began his second term as OMB director at the White House, following Peter R. Orszag's retirement. He hoped to reenact the higher tax rates on the rich that were employed during the Clinton presidency. Still, he offered to reduce the rates from 40% to 25%.

In January 2012, Obama appointed Lew to chief of staff - one of the most influential and powerful roles within the administration. The appointment was slammed after it was revealed that Lew had received a $900,000 bonus from Citi after it was bailed out by the government, recording losses of $27.7 billion.

Lew became one of Obama's closest advisers and filled a central role in the speedy negotiations with the Republicans to avert the Fiscal cliff. Lew was bent on reaching an agreement, but insisted on minimal cuts in social and health programs - such as Medicare, public housing and food stamps.

Jared Bernstein, the former economic adviser to Vice President Joe Biden, said of Lew: "One of the things that Lew always deeply understood is the administration's importance to pensioners,  the poor and people that aren't connected to finances and economic markets. Many Republicans believe that everyone is connected, but that in fact that is simply untrue."

Miss New York Mallory Hytes Hagan Crowned As Miss America

Congratulations! Brooklyn native Mallory Hytes Hagan, who spoke out against armed guards in schools, was crowned Miss American in Las Vegas on Saturday Jan. 12!
Mallory Hytes Hagan beat out Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers, who placed second, and Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton, who finished third, to become Miss America! She beat out 13,000 original contestants including the pageant’s first autistic contestant and a woman with Tourettes.


“Sandy may have swept away our shores, but never our spirit. I’m Miss New York, Mallory Hagan,” Mallory said as she introduced herself to the nation on Jan. 12.

Mallory tapped danced to James Brown’s “Get Up Off That Thing” for the talent section of the competition and for the question and answer portion, she answered a question about armed guards in schools from Good Morning America’s Sam Champion, who was one of the celebrity judges for the pageant this year.

“I don’t think the proper way to fight violence is with violence,” she said.

Mallory attended the Fashion Institute of Technology and hopes to obtain a degree in Cosmetics and Fragrance Marketing.

Mallory won a $50,000 scholarship along with the sash and crown on Jan. 12 at Las Vegas’s Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino.

As the winner, Mallory is expected to spend her title reign on a nationwide speaking tour and raising money for the Children’s Miracle Network, the organization’s official charity.

Why is Shahrukh Khan distancing himself from Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan?

Looks like the Baadshah is hell-bent on refreshing his friend-list so that it has no ‘old friends’ in it. But why, we wonder…

Shahrukh Khan is in the news yet again for the famous cold vibes he loves to send out to the people who have once been close to him. And the latest bakra of SRK’s cold-shoulder syndrome is Hrithik Roshan . Well, we’ve talked about that, haven’t we? And we’ve also talked endlessly about how Shahrukh has distanced himself from Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Farah Khan and Priyanka Chopra.

The reason why the cold-shoulder syndrome takes over the Baadshah are many. Right from the fight over screenings, to brawl with a dost’s husband, to the alleged kissa of the other woman. For all those who have lost track, Shahrukh Khan’s first big brawl happened during a night where his dear friend Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder managed to irk him and earned a resounding slap in return. After that, we heard Shahrukh’s ‘bessht’ friend Karan Johar cutting ties with him due to Baadshah’s alleged proximity to Priyanka that had miffed Gauri Khan. Then we had Shahrukh and Akshay Kumar locking horns over the copyright issues of Dhanush’s Kolaveri Di. We were also privy to Shahrukh’s dear friend Arjun Rampal getting pally with SRK’s arch rival Salman and facing Shahrukh’s cold-shoulder. And the list goes on with Hrithik joining the stay-away-from-Shahrukh club. But in the end, while SRK’s fans or no-fans just devour the details of those tussles and move on with their lives, Shahrukh is left with one friend less on his list.

So where is all this leading to? Is Shahrukh Khan steadily moving towards a lonely future? And if so, doesn’t it worry King Khan? From outside, it surely looks like Shahrukh has enough in his life to take the focus away from these breaking friendships. Even so, can Shahrukh function in an industry that’s now filled with his frenemies? Or perhaps, SRK is confident that his ever-smiling and socially active wife Gauri Khan will take care to mend the fences with the people he has distanced himself from.

Priyanka Chopra says she is different from Lady Gaga

In a recent interview, the Don 2 actor spoke about her journey as a singer and how different she is from other popular musicians

If there is one thing that the sassy actor Priyanka Chopra understands, it is competition, and how to win the rat race. This quality has made her an actor who has managed to stay at the top, and even branch out to do other things like singing, while her contemporaries either fade away or continue doing the same stuff. And the pretty actor showed how competitive she can get when in a recent interview with the American newspaper Wall Street Journal, Piggy Chops said that she was different from the internationally famous pop-star Lady Gaga

In the interaction, Pee Cee was asked that since she was working with Lady Gaga ’s team, were there any similarities between them, to which the actor said, “She is an incredible star, and I have huge amounts of respect for her as a performer, but I am completely different. Not only in the kind of music that I am making, but as me. We are two different people, not even in the same league.”

And as Pee Cee made it clear that she was different from Lady Gaga, she was also careful to be modest about the fact, and added that while Lady Gaga was a superstar, she was only a debutant and although she was working with Gaga’s team, she made it clear that that was the only thing common between the two.

Snoop Dogg: I love Bollywood!

The popular American rapper  is kicked about making future collaborations with Indian actors and artists

Snoop Dogg , who is here on his first India tour, had earlier collaborated with Indian actor Akshay Kumar for 2008 Singh is Kinng.  “I love Bollywood. I would most definitely want to do something again. I had fun with Akshay Kumar in Singh is Kinng, and I am looking forward to doing it again,” the singer said at a press conference on Thursday.  The 41-year-old also reveals he is looking forward to meeting many producers here. “I am looking forward to meeting many producers here. If any Bollywood directors would love to have me in a movie, I am ready,” he said.

The international celebrity says he is a fan of Bollywood music and dance.  “I am a fan of Bollywood music and dance. It is a great time to do some more work here,” he said. Snoop Dogg’s first concert will be held in Pune on Friday, and he will take to the stage in Gurgaon on Sunday.  He will perform his popular tracks like What’s My Name, Drop it like it’s hot, Gin and juice and Wet and boom.  “I will have a good time in Pune and then I will be going to Delhi. People here have been waiting to see me perform,” said the rapper, who had earlier promised his shows will be the “best party” for Indians.

He admits he is in love with the country and likes the people here too. “India is beautiful! It is everything I expected it to be. The scenery and people are beautiful here,” he said.  Snoop Dogg says his music helps release stress. “My music helps people get through the day. No matter what is going on, my music is like a stress relief,” he said.

Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola Box office: The Imran Khan Anushka Sharma starrer makes Rs 7 crore on its opening day

Vishal Bhardwaj’s Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola, a political satire targetting land scam, collected Rs.7.02 crore on its opening day, making it the highest ever opening for the director.

Co-produced by Bhardwaj , the film has been made at a budget of about Rs.33 crore. And its opening is said to be much higher than Bhardwaj’s “Kaminey“, said a statement.

Set in the rustic surroundings of a village in Haryana, “Matru Ki…” is about Harry Mandola (Pankaj Kapur), an industrialist, who loves his drink, daughter Bijlee (Anushka Sharma) and the unusual bond he shares with his Man Friday Matru (Imran Khan).

Many felt that political satire as such has not been a well explored subject in cinema and hence this one is a bold step pushing the envelope where no one else has dared to venture.

In fact, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan too praised the film.

He tweeted: “A land issue much like Singur, rich and poor divide, communism of takes, anti alcohol, love triangle (DDLJ style), politics – all portrayed in a manner not unknown to us, yet unknown… a composite satire, if ever satires could be composite.”

Bigg Boss 6: My nature made me win says winner Urvashi Dholakia

Urvashi Dholakia believes it was her straightforward nature that helped her win Big Boss 6

The actress bagged Rs.50 lakh as prize money , and admits she “never earned so much money at one go in my life”.  ”This is the way I am and how I have always been. You can ask everyone. I told them I never thought that I could last so long. My straightforwardness works against me, but today it worked for me and I won,” Urvashi told IANS.

“I never earned so much money together ever in my life. I can say this openly and this is a big thing for me. And I am very confident this time.

“I believe in the philosophy that the more you run after something, the more it runs away from you. So, the money was not at all important for me. I didn’t come here because of that,” she added.

Do not pretend, suggests the 33-year-old, best known for playing negative role of Komolika in popular TV show “Kasautii Zindagii Kay“.

“My personal experience is that be the way you are. You don’t need to become someone else or have a split personality. If you are accepted the way you are, then it is good,” said the mother of two teenage sons.

On the show, she faced criticism from the other inmates’ family members. But Urvashi remained unperturbed. She said her motto was “not to use this platform. The platform gave me an opportunity to showcase how I am”.

Talking about co-contestant Imam Siddique with whom she had several tiffs on the show, Urvashi explained that she noticed both positive and negative traits in his personality.

“Imam was playing a game and he claimed it too. I always believed there was a good and bad side to him. He has humanity but I can’t understand his other side.

“So when that used to happen, I used to feel weird. I don’t think anyone supported him from the beginning but me. All I told him was that he should (drop) this negativity.”

Urvashi is open to work in films as well as television.

“Work is work… I respect all kinds of work. The industry has always been very welcoming. Even when I came after my separation, they accepted me and made me reach here,” she said.

Since the beginning she was seen as one of the strongest contestants on the show. A single mother, she admits having some low moments during her stay inside the house.

“I got shattered at times, but then I resurrect my confidence. My career was written off in 2008, only by some people. My mother has taught me, ‘What you sow is what you reap’. So whatever you do, do it after thinking nicely,” she said.

She also feels that it is entirely up to a person how he or she deals with competition and problems.

“I am a human being and I have my low moments too… But this world is all about fighting for survival. Every field has competitors and it is up to you how to deal with it,” she said.
