You all know the close friendship Karan Johar and Kajol share, ever since their Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge days. That friendship became stronger after he cast her in his first directorial venture Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. The movie became an instant hit. Kajol wed Ajay Devgn, but that did not break their friendship and he cast her again in Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Kajol however distanced herself from the movies and became more of a homemaker after K3G, but that did not end their friendship. Karan was insistent that Kajol atleast do a guest appearance in Kal Ho Naa Ho, as he firmly believed that she was his good luck charm. Kajol, being a sweetheart, agreed. The plan was that Kajol will groove to Maahi ve. Then they learnt that Kajol was pregnant! Karan was apprehensive, but Kajol reassured him she will do the song. When you watch the movie on YouTube Boxoffice, you’ll see Kajol looking her sexiest best in the song. Kajol later made another guest appearance in Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna during the Rock n roll song. Both films became huge hits. The only where they did not hit the jackpot? We Are Family. Maybe because it didn’t have Shahrukh Khan?
