Rishi Kapoor to essay Shahrukh Khan’s gay role in ‘Student Of The Year’

The veteran actor will play a homosexual in Karan Johar’s film, earlier to be played by Shahrukh Khan

Rishi Kapoor, B-town’s accomplished actor and one of the great Kapoors in the industry, is now all set to play a gay character in Karan Johar’s film, Student Of The Year. The character was supposed to be played by KJo’s good friend Shahrukh Khan earlier. But as SRK is too busy basking in the glory of his just-released film RA.One, Kapoor was approached for the role, and he accepted the offer. There was a buzz that Kapoor plays a dean in the movie and has a very unique relationship with Ronit Roy’s character. Kapoor admitted to our sources that his character is gay, adding that it is one of the most important roles of his career. As Kapoor is a well-known and skilled actor in the industry, there is no doubt that he will do full justice to whatever role comes his way. It should be a treat to watch him play this special character!
