Fashion photographer Rohan Shrestha tells us who his favourite Bollywood celebrities are and what makes them special
He has a father who has made a huge name with his images of the celebrity denizens of B-town. Now 26-year-old Rohan Shrestha, son of one of Bollywood’s leading photographers, Rakesh Shrestha, is a fashion photographer, a field he stepped into in 2009. And he has managed to work with some of the biggest names in celebville in a short span of time.
He insists that he did not piggyback on his father’s standing in the industry to get a foothold of his own. Rohan says, “My father started out on his own, chasing celebrities in the 70s. He wanted me to do the same thing. It is easy for him to make a call, but I didn’t want him to do that.” After doing a basic photography course, Rohan worked as an assistant to few photographers in London and Mumbai.
