Mallika Sherawat all set to croon for ‘Lucky Unlucky’

Along with playing a Jat athlete, the sexy babe will also sing for her upcoming film opposite Sonu Sood

For a change you won’t see Ms Sherawat in an out-and-out glamorous avatar. Debunking notions that she can’t do anything beyond the typical latka jhatkas, the actor dons the hat of a rustic Haryanvi chick who is an athlete (passionately or professionally, we don’t know yet). But the sportswoman doesn’t just have to be all athletic and strong; the director of the film – Afzal Rizvi is making sure that the Jalebi Bai babe also showcases her singing skills in front of the audience. So now that she has agreed to lend her velvety voice, the director of the movie is turning it into a promotional strategy. And considering it’s a road movie, the two will be visiting different cities in the film and hence the lyrics will be written in different languages. Despite the untrained voices of Sherawat and Sood, music composer Sankoth Singh seems to be quite kicked about his new project. Mallika will also be crooning in Haryanvi, her mother tongue. Now that’s something we are indeed looking forward to. As for the composition, let’s see if it turns out to be ‘lucky or unlucky’ for Mallika and her new venture.
