The number of flop films on Akshaye Khanna’s resume is probably taking a toll on the actor’s mind. Aakrosh, No Problem, Tees Maar Khan – the actor has been kayoing us with back-to-back duds. None of the DCH stars have expressed their anger over not being re-cast by director Farhan Akhtar; after all, they all have been pretty loaded with offers which in turn places them in the actors-who-are-secure-enough category. Saif Ali Khan has moved a notch higher when it comes to acting and the kinds of films he chooses, while Preity Zinta is juggling with cricket and entertainment and mixing them up occasionally. Aamir Khan is at the top of his game experimenting with genres, looks and a lot of other things we are not sure we want to know more about. The only person lagging behind is poor Mr Khanna, who’s still trying hard to establish himself in the industry. Sandwiched somewhere between character and main roles, it’s but natural for the actor to get miffed with directors who used him happily and then erased him from their minds when the movie got over. Khanna will very soon be seen in Rumi Jaffery’s Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai and we wish him all the best of luck. And about people who are riling him up – we think Akshaye should just hold his horses and wait for them to get off their high horses. Phew! We think we will now stop horsing around for the day…
