Why was Katrina Kaif not present at Salman Khan’s birthday bash?

 

Before you jump the gun, we’d like to clear that there is no trouble in paradise. Kat had to skip her dear friend’s party for a very personal reason

There were many surprise moments at Salman Khan’s birthday bash in his Panvel farmhouse. Like, an unusual guest Farhan Akhtar (Shahrukh Khan is supposed to be his best buddy) made it all the way to Panvel to attend the party and Govinda, who was supposed to be miffed with the Dabangg dude, grooved like there was no tomorrow. But what we’re more interested in knowing was about lover-turned-ex-lover-turned-friend Katrina Kaif’s absence at her Ek Tha Tiger co-star’s revelry. When we were struggling for answers, we read that the Chikini Chameli babe was far-off in her homeland, London, with her family for Christmas celebrations. Ms Kaif felt the festive season would be a good time to catch up with her folks whom she hadn’t seen in the last one year, due to the hectic work schedule. However, our suspicious minds feel there’s more to the story. Coz despite breaking up with Salman, she is almost always there for every Khan family gathering. Remember a few weeks back she was also there at Sohail Khan’s son’s birthday party. And earlier this year on her birthday, she spent the entire day with Salman shooting for the item song in Bodyguard. So why did Kat not make it a point to be around on Salman’s special day? We think, knowing the lady’s need to keep her personal life private she doesn’t want the friendly camaraderie with her ex-lover and regular appearances at his family soirees to start off a new set of rumours! Or maybe she didn’t want to upset another good friend Ranbir Kapoor? Maybe or maybe not. We’ll tell you as soon as we find out.
