With the nominations rolling in, the Zee Cine Awards 2012 promises to keep you on the edge of your seat. Some of the most popular movies of 2011 – RA.One, Don 2, The Dirty Picture, Bodyguard, Rockstar and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara – have made it to the nomination list for Best Movie of the Year. While ZNMD is the most nominated movie of the year, who do you think will actually walk away with the cake? Sounds like a difficult decision to us. Likewise, nominations for the categories of Best Actor, Best Director and Best Song also present pretty tough choices. The world’s biggest viewer’s choice awards is all set to trigger off the biggest dilemmas. Will sleaze win over slick action, or loud antics rule over subtle emotions? The night of January 21, 2012 might hold the answers. But, guess what, wars and dilemmas aren’t the only USPs of the ZCA 2012. Zee has roped in the most controversial couple of the recent past as hosts for the event. No, it’s not Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor or Ranveer Singh-Anushka Sharma. The Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan will co-host the event with his jungli billi, Priyanka Chopra. SRK’s fondness for Piggy Chops has been in the news for a while now. Will this on-stage partnership give more credence to those stories? Well, maybe. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. And after leaving its footprints on the streets of Dubai, London, Mauritius, Malaysia and Singapore, the ZCA 2012 is all set to rock the grounds of the Venetian, Macau.
