UNICEF amabassador Selena Gomez joined a slew of celebrities at the UNICEF Snowflake Ball in NYC on Nov. 27, where she opted for a form-fitting Dolce & Gabbana gown that was both sophisticated and sexy — and she wasn’t the only star to show off some winter style in a dark gown! Katy Perry was also in attendance, wearing a similar look on the blue carpet.
Katy has a quirky sense of style and certainly has an affinity for color, but on this occasion she went for a gothic glam look in a gorgeous, navy silk Naeem Khan georgette column gown, complete with a cape! While on some it could seem overbearing, on Katy it looked so elegant — she totally owned it.
Selena finished off her ensemble, pairing her sophisticated gown with Giuseppe Zanotti pumps, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a Judith Leiber clutch. This is one of the most grown-up yet sophisticated looks we’ve ever seen on the star, and she carries herself so well.
The event, which celebrate the lighting of the UNICEF snowflakes and honors those who make philanthropic commintments towards the goal of saving children’s lives, drew a slew of celebrities.
