Tom Cruise seems to have finally set his priorities right. He is now following his heart rather than blindly obeying what the leaders of Scientology expect him to do. There were strict instructions that the star was supposed to break off ties with any person who was termed as a non believer by the cult. This was really difficult for Tom as this would mean breaking all ties with Katie who still has the custody of his dear daughter Suri.
Suri is indeed the apple of Tom's eye and it pained him to a great extent that he could not be with her since he divorced Katie.
Recently reports surfaced that Tom spend the Thanksgiving holidays with his daughter and by doing so, he had actually broken the rules laid down by the Scientology. Scientology is very rigid in this aspect and does not accept people who break rules. Thus Tom Cruise had to make a tough choice. But he has finally taken his call and reunited with Suri. This has led to believes that he has totally given up on Scientology. But there is no concrete evidence of the same as yet.
Only time will tell if his ties with the cult is stronger or it succumbs to the love of a parent.
