Kim Kardashian is Bing's "Most Searched Person"

After losing out to Justin Bieber last year, Kim Kardashian is back on the top of internet searches for 2012.

Today, the 32-year-old star was spotted at Ft. Lauderdale International Airport on her way to the Middle East wearing a tasteful black top, blazer, black pants, and pointy heels.

According to Bing's "Most Searched Person" report, the reality diva earned the title in 2010 and then snatched back the #1 spot from the Canadian pop star this year.

However, Beliebers can put down their arms, Justin was the #1 searched musician, beating out Whitney Houston and Katy Perry.

As for sports, Peyton Manning took the title from Maria Sharapova this year while Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney Kardashian topped the Reality TV searches.

Unfortunately for Washington, neither Mitt Romney (#43) nor Barack Obama (#46) neared the top of the charts.

a Gomez: All Grown Up at the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake

Doing her best to raise money for a worthwhile cause, Selena Gomez attended the 2012 UNICEF Snowflake Ball on Tuesday (November 27).

The 20-year-old starlet worked the Cipriani media line in a sleeveless and backless long black gown with sparkling trim before heading in to help bring further awareness to a group that means so much to her.

In a previous interview, Selena talked about being a part of UNICEF, saying, “I feel I’m able to use my voice and my platform and my audience to educate them on issues that are going on around the world.”

Aside from being a voice for young people all around the world, Miss Gomez has made a name for herself within the organization as she is the youngest person to ever be named a UNICEF ambassador.

According to the event’s website, “UNICEF hosts the Snowflake Ball, one of New York City’s most notable black-tie galas, to celebrate the lighting of the UNICEF Snowflakes and to honor those whose philanthropic commitments support its mission to save children’s lives.”

Since the start of the program back in 2005, the annual gathering has raised over $16 million for various UNICEF programs.

Salman and Ekta Kapoor to clash during Eid

Ramzan Eid is for all the time Salman's lucky mascot! Everybody knows that the superstar targets the festive season of Eid to release his film, for the reason that all of his movies such as Wanted, Ek Tha Tiger and Bodygaurd were blockbusters all over.

As a result, beloved brothers, Salman and Sohail, are looking forward to start their new project, by going on floors in January 2013. In addition, they are also aiming to release the film within first 10 days of August which would be during Eid. However it is also being said that the well-known filmmaker Ekta Kapoor had already announced that her forthcoming film 'Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again' will be released during Eid. Well then this would be a big clash!

This is because from past two years, Rohit had released his films Singham (2011) and Bol Bachchan (2012) in the same period and have luckily worked well at box-office.

Aamir Khan wants Google ‘search’ button to read ‘Talaash’!

The master of marketing gimmicks made an unusual request to search engine giant Google to promote his latest film Talaash

Talk about unique ideas for marketing a film, and Aamir Khan always comes up trumps. For Ghajini he made multiplex ushers have a buzz haircut similar to his character. During 3 Idiots, he simply chose to vanish – just like he does in the film – and tour the country in disguise. So what did he think up for his latest film Talaash, releasing on November 30?

You won’t be able to guess that! Aamir the genius actually made his team approach the big boss of online search engines Google, with a first-of-its-kind plan. He requested for a small change on the Google homepage – to replace the word ‘search’ with the Hindi word ‘talaash’, which is not only the movie’s name, but also literally means ‘search’. How clever!

But Aamir’s clout did not work this time – Google rejected him. They will not have anyone messing with their main page, we guess, and that too the word ‘search’ itself. It’s like giving your identity away as ad space, no?

And this has left us wondering what Aamir will do before the release of Dhoom:3 next year. Do you have any idea? Go on, take a guess….

Colors to air Anil Kapoor’s show 24

Speculations were rife that the actor was in talks with Star Plus, but the superstar chooses Colors instead to air the remake of his big budget show

Anil Kapoor is a man on a mission. And the mission is to see that his big budget show 24, which is the remake of an American series by the same name, gets the best possible platform. Anil, who is also producing the show, was undecided as to which channel to air it on. But apparently, after months of frantic negotiations, he has chosen Colors over other channels (read Star).

In his inimitable style, Anil made no bones about choosing Colors and said, “We just shook hands and it was done.” Apparently, the show will cost Anil as much as a movie would, since he is producing the series himself. He also said that 24 was the most important thing in his life right now, and that he has put everything on hold until he completes the series. What did we tell you about him being a man on a mission!

Gabriel Aubry Gets Restraining Order Against Olivier Martinez After Brawl

Gabriel Aubry has taken out a restraining order against Olivier Martinez after a Thanksgiving brawl that landed the model in the hospital and got him arrested.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, the two men had aviolent clash at Halle Berry’s home last Thursday, though there are differing accounts as to who started the altercation.

But according to Aubry’s court filing, it was Martinez who not only initiated the fight, but also threatened to kill him.

Aubry alleges tensions began rising at daughter Nahla’s school on Wednesday, where he claims Martinez whispered in his ear in French, “I wish I could beat the s**t out of you right now. You’re lucky we’re in a school right now. We’re going to take Nahla right now and you’re not going to follow us.”

At Berry’s home the following day, he says it was Martinez who greeted him as he attempted to drop off Nahla, instead of the nanny.

After Martinez told him,”We need to talk,” the actor allegedly jumped off the steps and brutally beat Aubry, slamming his head into the concrete driveway.

According to Aubry, Martinez screamed throughout the incident that their failed court battle over whether Berry and Nahla could move to France cost them $3 million — and that they intended to move anyway and Aubry better follow or he’d allegedly be killed.

It’s further alleged that Martinez revealed they called the cops and told Aubry, “You’re going to tell them that you’re the one who attacked me, or I’m going to kill you.”

Aubry, who claims the judge in the custody case ordered him and Berry to arrange 50/50 care for Nahla, suffered significant injuries in the fight, and attached photos of his badly bruised and swollen face to his declaration, says TMZ.

Aubry was arrested after the brawl, and Berry has since obtained an emergency restraining order, barring him from coming near her, Martinez or Nahla.

Gossip Cop hears it was Aubry who instigated the attack on Martinez, who suffered a hand injury in the incident.

Brad Pitt Announces Wedding Date Near

Could it be true? Could wedding bells really be imminent for Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?  Well, to hear Brad tell it, they’ll be making it official really soon. The actor was in New York on Monday night for the premiere of his new film, Killing Them Softly,when he spoke to the press about the possibility of getting married.

“I am getting more pressure from my kids, and it is something I want to do within their lifetime, but I also feel like the time has come. The time is nigh, it’s soon. I got a good feeling about it.”

Brad saying he has a good feeling about it happening sounds like he is still in the dark himself about details. It took seven years for the couple to even get engaged, primarily because the kids have pushed for it, not because Brad and Angie thought that a marriage was necessary. I think Brad might be ready but I think Angie will continue to drag her feet and come up with reasons to postpone any vows being exchanged. She has said in the past that she wasn’t marrying again and I just don’t think she will marry Brad, in spite of their six shared kids and better part of a decade together.  I think she is going along with the idea to appease the kids but then delaying any planning. Last we heard here at CDL, Angie was demanding that Brad lose weight before they get married.

There’s always a new condition once the previous one has been met. I just don’t think this wedding will happen, in spite of Brad’s “feeling”. Will they ever make itofficial and actually tie that knot? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!

Who Will Be Eliminated From The Voice “Top 8″ Tonight?

That other reality television talent show, The Voice, is down to the final eight contestants – Team Adam’s Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown; Team Xtina’s Dez Duron; Team Blake’s Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope; and Team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte, Nicholas David, and Cody Belew.

Last night, the final elite eight took to the stage to sing their bleeding hearts out for America. Team Adam’s Melanie Martinez and Amanda Brown delivered captivating and ridiculously powerful performances, while Team Xtina’s sole survivor, Dez Duron, slipped below-the-radar with a lounge in Las Vegas performance. Team Blake’s Terry McDermott and Cassadee Pope delivered singer/songwriter vibes that could count in their favour, and Team Cee Lo’s Trevin Hunte, Nicholas David, and Cody Belew took on some of the biggest songs on the planet.

Let’s crumble that cookie, shall we?

Amanda Brown is one of the front runners in the competition, and many polls point to her as the most popular contestant of the bunch. She is, after all, one of our favourites in the competition too!

Melanie Martinez’s survival depends on song choice at this point in the competition, but she’s luckily doing a great job at keeping those nasty elimination votes at bay.

Dez Duron will, unfortunately, not win the competition. His looks are currently pulling him through the rough spots (like last night) and carrying him week after week. Hiselimination and Team Xtina’s elimination might be imminent, however.

Terry McDermott’s singer/songwriter vibe makes him one of the best in the competition. There’s no doubt in our minds that he will reach the finale.

Cassadee Pope’s vocals are still not completely there, but her beauty and performance quality will keep her in the competition for a bit longer.

Trevin Hunte’s big voiced Motown extravaganza could bore audiences at home, and could make Trevin be eliminated prematurely.

Nicholas David’s off-kilter and throwback vibe bodes well with the home audience. He could take it all if he keeps up his eccentric performances.

Cody Belew’s big voiced performances will most probably see him go very, very far in this competition. If he is able to stay consistent throughout, he might be one of the finalists.

Halle Berry to move to court seeking permanent restraining order against ex

Oscar-winner actress Halle Berry has decided to move to court again seeking permanent restraining order against her ex-husband Gabriel Aubry who indulged in a fistfight with her new lover Olivier Martinez over this Thanksgiving weekend. After the incident the couple got an emergency protective order against Aubrey which restricted the Canadian model from coming within 100 yards of Berry’s residence and meeting their daughter Nahla. According to TMZ, as the emergency protective order would be lifted on Tuesday, the Hollywood star will be taking her ex to court again to make the restraining order permanent which will restrain Gabriel from coming near his daughter with Halle for an undetermined period of time. "If Gabriel can't control himself enough to protect Nahla from emotional trauma, it's too risky for him to be around the child, Halle, or her fiance" a source said.

Shia LaBeouf splits from long-time girlfriend Karolyn Pho

Even Stevens’ star Shia LaBeouf has reportedly broken up with his two-year-long girlfriend Karolyn Pho "a while ago". According to sources, the actor is currently focusing on moving forward after splitting with his stylist ex. The 26-year-old was also spotted cozying up to a mystery blonde at LA's Magic Castle Saturday night, Us magazine reported. The couple had started dating in early 2011 during a trip to a karaoke club in LA's trendy Echo Park neighborhood.

Clothing brand asks Sonakshi Sinha to lose weight!

Sonakshi Sinha’s weight issues is a topic everyone in tinsel town are discussing these days. In the film industry, where being thin or having a perfect body is more like a trend, Sonakshi Sinha is known for her curvy voluptuous figure. Priyanka Chopra to pull a Mary Kom in Bhansali’s next

Priyanka Chopra is all set to test her mettle to the core, as the actress will next be seen playing Mary Kom, the Indian Olympic medal winning boxer.

Reportedly, Priyanka has been roped in by Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Mary Kom’s biopic. It is learnt that PeeCee will have to undergo rigorous training for four long months, and that too, from Mary Kom herself. She will learn the basics of boxing, i.e. the foot-and-arm movement, feinting, sparring etc and also there would be a grinding session, as Priyanka will move into bouts and throw actual punches at the opponents. She will have to bear a few punches too.

Priyanka will have to be physically and mentally strong.

Buzz doing the rounds is that Priyanka will be staying with Mary Kom and her family, in Manipur, as it is very important for her to understand her character.

Says a source, “She needs to understand how Mary has struggled to perfect her sport even though she had to play mother to twins and take care of her husband. There are a lot of things about Mary’s family that nobody knows. For instance, Mary’s father became aware of his daughter’s affinity to boxing only after he read about her achievements in the newspaper. By spending time with the family, Priyanka will get to know about such stories.”

The actress will begin her training early next year.

Krrish 3-Ragini MMS 2 to clash, Diwali 2013?

While Hrithik Roshan’s superhero flick was always slated for a Diwali 2013 release, the makers of the new Sunny Leone starrer have abruptly announced the same date for their film

It seems that Rakesh Roshan’s wish to have Krrish 3 as a solo Diwali release might not be fulfilled, what with Balaji Motion Pictures also secretly chalking out plans to cash in on the festive season withRagini MMS 2.

It has been known for some time that producer-director Rakesh Roshan had his mega venture’s release planned well in advance. So now several B-towners are shocked, rather than merely surprised with Ekta Kapoor aiming to release her adult horror flick around the same time, as they feel that the TV Czarina is trying to sabotage Roshan’s film. But why would Ekta resort to such cheap gimmicks? And do we really want to see a new war at the box office? Haven’t we had enough with all the fur flying during the Ajay Devgn-Yash Raj Films war this Diwali?

Interestingly, Ragini MMS 2 will be Diwali’s first ‘adult’ release and, if our loyal birdie is to be believed, the poster of the Sunny Leone film reads: ‘This Diwali get laid’ – oops!

Even though the two are films from different genres with different audiences, wethinks Hrithik’s sci-fi flick may well have a battle on its hands with Sunny’s horror flick. So all you movie buffs waiting for this exciting time, get set to fly or get laid in Diwali 2013…your choice!

Bappi Lahiri 60th birthday: Singer keeps a low profile due to Bal Thackeray’s death

Bappi da avoids grand celebrations as a mark of respect for the Shiv Sena supremo

Born on November 27, 1952, India’s disco king Bappi Lahiri turns 60 today, and he is quite excited about reaching this important landmark in his life. But the music director has decided to keep his birthday celebrations private because he feels that the city is still mourning the death of Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray.

“I will celebrate with my family, but there won’t be any grand party as a mark of respect to Bal Thackeray who just passed away,” said Bappi da.

This year, the Ooh la la composer also enters the 40th year of his Bollywood career. Bappi da moved to Mumbai at the age of 19 and started his musical journey with the film Nanha Shikari in 1973. He went on to compose some of the biggest hits of the ‘80s and was labelled ‘the disco king’ after the hit soundtrack of Disco Dancer.

The music director sang loads of numbers that went on to reign the charts, including Yaar bina chain kahan re from Saheb, Yaad aa raha hai (Disco Dancer) and Tamma tamma loge (Thanedaar).

In 2000, Lahiri sang for an outside composer for the first time – Vishal-Shekhar’s Mumbai nagariya inTaxi No. 9211 – and then went on to lend his voice to several more tracks including the recent hit Ooh la la from The Dirty Picture.
