Did John Abraham inspire Saif Ali Khan to stay fit on the sets of Race 2?

In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan revealed how John Abraham motivated him to stay in shape while shooting forRace 2 

“Working with John Abraham had everyone running off to the gym. Anil Kapoor ,  John and I spent a lot of time exercising together during the making of the film.” He added, “I also needed to match John’s physical attributes, because the two of us have a hand-to-hand combat in the film. And when it comes to actually being fit, you cannot cheat.”
