Josh Brolin was arrested just before midnight on January 1 in Santa Monica, California for public intoxication. Josh was reportedly booked into jail at 3:02 AM and then released at 7:14 AM on Jan. 2.
Josh, 44, who is married to Diane Lane, was not given a citation, which means that he will not have to appear in court over the arrest, according to TMZ. In other words, it’s all said and done. He paid the $250 bail and was released from jail.
Josh was hanging out with a bunch of his good friends and ended up having “too much fun,” a friend tells TMZ.
Let’s hope Diane doesn’t leave Josh after his arrest. Veteran newscaster Sam Donaldson‘s wife, journalist Jan Smith Donaldson, divorced him after a DUI arrest, however, they were reportedly separated for several months before his arrest. Could Josh’s arrest be a result of marital troubles?
Furthermore, Linda Hogan was coincidentally arrested for suspicion of a DUI, shortly after ex-husband Hulk Hogan’s sex tape was released.
Linda’s rep told TMZ, “Linda was on her way home from a function in L.A. where she drank a glass of champagne on an empty stomach. We’re told she has also been on antibiotics and the drugs exacerbated the effects of the alcohol. Linda was initially pulled over for speeding.”
