Kristen Stewart: Bella Swan Was ‘Naughtier Than You Think’ — Video

In a new interview, Kristen opens up about the main challenge she faced playing her ‘On The Road’ character MaryLou, and the difference between playing her compared to Bella Swan in ‘The Twilight Saga.’

We already knew that Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) had the ability to break a bed while having sex, but in a new video interview, Kristen admits that Bella Swan is much “naughtier” than we think. Wow!

Kristen opened up to Time Warner Cable, as she described the challenges she faced while playing the role of MaryLou in On The Road.

“So you have gone from the blockbuster franchise of Twilight to On The Road, which is a more independent film. What’s it like going from the good girl of
Bella to MaryLou, who’s the way she is in this movie, in this crazy environment,” the interviewer asked Kristen.

“Bella’s actually… she’s a little naughtier than you think,” Kristen joked to Time Warner Cable.

In an earlier interview, Kristen also talked about the difference between playing a real character (like MaryLou) compared to a fictional one (like Bella).

“I don’t want to discredit what it feels like to play a character who’s been written by somebody,” Kristen told Now Toronto of playing Bella. “You feel just as responsible to the writer and to everyone who’s been affected by that character.”

“I’ve played Joan Jett and because she was on set every day I couldn’t improv. I couldn’t. Everything I said, I spoke to her about it. You know — you can’t put words in their mouths unless you know. Unless you really feel it, and it’s coming from the right place,” Kristen explained of playing a real character.
