The Rangeela babe is looking for a film that can take her to the next level
Urmila Matondkar has been out of action for quite some time now. One of the best acting talents of Bollywood, Urmila was last seen in Himesh Reshammiya’s 2008 thriller Karzzzz. It’s been a good four years since that film released and now the feisty gal is gearing up to make a comeback. These days, away from the silver screen, the 38-year-old star is judging the reality show Dance Maharashtra Danceon Zee TV Marathi.
Urmila agrees that this an exciting time to be in Bollywood when different subjects are being handled by some young and path-breaking directors. “I need something that can get me out of the hibernation and get me back to where I belong. But I don’t want a regular mill of the stuff. There needs to be something stimulating, the entire package has to be thrilling enough. I am glad that new filmmakers are making different films and experimenting a lot. I have played different characters throughout my career as an actor. So I am waiting for the right project to come along,” said Urmila.
